|  | The Joint effort of Task Force Tugis of the Philippine Army based at Cotabato City and United States Army Explosive and Ordinance Disposal (EOD) Team made thier Bomb Drill exactly 08:10 AM today September 11, 2007 at the Cotabato City Central Pilot School, Sinsuat Avenue, Cotabato City, Philippines with the full support of the City PNP Mobile Group, other communication groups and Kabalikat Civicom 637 Chapter assigned as crowd control, traffic in-charge and communication. |
| | Every month of July is the Disaster and Conciousness Month. All over the country different Regions had thier Disaster Preparedness that is suitable on thier location. In Cotabato City different line agencies of the government, the Non-governmental organizations, military and police office prepare for a bomb drill. The simultaneous bomb and earthquake drills was sponsored by the City Disaster Coordinating Council with the full support of the army EOD Battalion, PNP Bomb Squad, Cotabato Regional and Medical Center and the Kabalikat Civicom 637 Chapter as the Official Communication of the both drillls. The venue was at the New City Hall grounds, Cotabato City, Philippines and started exactly 08:30 AM, July 30, 2007. |
 Every month of July in each is the Diaster and Conciousness Month. This year instead of making an Earthquake Drills to different schools the City Disaster Coordinating Council of Cotabato City, Philippines together with the different line agencies, the PNP, AFP, BFP, DOH XII, DSWD, CRMC other NGOs/NGAs including the Kabalikat Civicom 637 Chapter Cotabato who is the Official Communication of the event made a simoultaneous Bomb Drills inside the grounds of the New City Hall building, inviting some participants, observers including the media to be aware of the frequent bombing in the city.
| | Every month of July is the Disaster Conciousness Month observe by the National Disaster Coordinating Council- Office of the Civil Defense (NDCC-OCD). This year the Regional Disaster Coordinating Council in colaboration with the Regional Disaster Coordinating Council and Department of Health Region XII come up to an idea to perform a bomb drills in cooperation to the different line agencies including the AFP, PNP, BFP,DSWD, PNRC, CRMC and other NGOs / NGAs at the Peoples Palace, Cotabato City, Philippines this morning July 30, 2007. On this simulation drills 2 bombs will be set to explode to measure the capabilities of the different assigned committees on how they responded on a situation like this and after the exercises selected leaders of the different participating groups gave comments and recommendation on how the drills were done. |

The simultaneous Bomb and Fire drills will be this coming Monday, July 30, 2007 in observance of the Disaster and Conciousness month. Only the day were given by the City Disaster Coordinating Council to study what are needed in times of disaster management. No time and place are given to let all the line agencies and other invovle groups on this drills..... (Note: Photos will be uploaded on this site two days after the drills)
